Across the school, we have been learning about what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is and how AI can be used for good in society. Each year group was set a task to write descriptions that would match 3 computer generated images. The children enjoyed carefully choosing adjectives to see if they could find a match when their descriptions were typed into a text-to-image creator online. The children then became the AI 'bot' and had to draw what they thought the computer would create when they were given the description 'a large orange cat sleeping under a tiny umbrella' as shown by 2S. The children had lots of fun exploring a brand new technology type and learning about the technology of old including vinyl record players, Game Boys, CD players and rotary landline phones.
